Full description

In the early evening we pick you up at your hotel in Cappadocia and drive to the caravanserai. Beforehand your guide explains the symbolism and meaning of the Sema, so you can follow the ceremony in its full sense.

For about an hour you follow the whirling dance of the dervishes – a meditation in motion, not a show. Traditional şerbet is served; afterwards we bring you back to your hotel.

Meeting point

We pick you up at your hotel in Cappadocia in the early evening and bring you back after the ceremony. The exact pick-up time depends on the season and is confirmed the day before.

You will recognise me by the sign “MeinReiseleiter.de” and the visibly worn guide licence. We confirm meeting point and time with your booking.
