Full description

Early in the morning we pick you up at your hotel in Istanbul and take you to the airport. After the domestic flight to Kayseri or Nevşehir, your guide and your vehicle with driver are waiting. The first stop is the underground city of Derinkuyu – 85 metres deep and once a refuge for up to 20,000 people.

Then we hike about 4 kilometres through Ihlara Valley, past cave churches from the 7th to 11th centuries with vivid frescoes, to a lunch break in the Anatolian village of Belisırma. In the afternoon we visit Selime, the largest rock monastery in the region, and end the day in the moonscape of Göreme. The evening flight takes you back to Istanbul, and we bring you to your hotel.
