Ski day in the Taurus – Saklıkent, Davraz or Salda

Snow at 2,000 metres in the morning, the sea in the afternoon: Antalya's speciality between December and March. Depending on snow we head for Saklıkent, Davraz or Salda.

Full description

The Taurus is so close to Antalya that you can ski in the morning and sit on the beach in the afternoon. Saklıkent on Bakırlıdağ is just over an hour away; the season usually runs from late December to late March, the runs are short but well suited to beginners and families.

If there is too little snow at Saklıkent we drive to Davraz near Isparta with its longer descents, or to Salda, where the ski area sits above the white lake. Equipment can be hired on site; on request we arrange a ski lesson.

Meeting point

We pick you up with vehicle and driver at Antalya cruise port (Port Akdeniz) or at your hotel and bring you back there.

You will recognise me by the sign “MeinReiseleiter.de” and the visibly worn guide licence. We confirm meeting point and time with your booking.

• Cruise guests – Please state ship and time in port. We pick you up directly at Antalya cruise port and plan the return to the ship with ample buffer.
• Comfortable shoes and sun protection – Ancient sites and old-town lanes have uneven paving and little shade; please bring water in summer.
• Entrance fees – Not included in the price and paid on site; we buy the tickets for you at the counter.
